| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, November 19th, 2008: SP Jesse Litsch in Talks with New York (A)
In an interview, 23-year-old Jesse Litsch complimented the New York (A) Yankees on their baseball atmosphere, saying that he'd jump at the chance to play for New York (A).
When pressed, however, Litsch denied that any deal was being worked on, but that if a deal were to come about it would have to be one of "fair market value."

It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that New York (A)'s Jason Giambi has asked his team for a trade. Insiders indicate the first baseman may not be happy with the club management. So far, the team's owners have refused to comment.

 | Wednesday, September 17th, 2008: Toronto's McGowan Shuts Out Yankees
Today at SkyDome Dustin McGowan baffled New York (A) batters on 3 hits en route to a 6-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off balance and got the ball down," said the Blue Jays skipper about his starter's performance.
McGowan had 10 strikeouts and no walks in the game.
Looking at his season stats, McGowan has won 19 and lost 10, collecting 232 strikeouts and 32 walks in 249.1 innings with a 2.82 ERA.
