 | Tuesday, July 8th, 2008: Erie Blanks BaySox Brad Lincoln of Erie easily handled the Bowie BaySox, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete game 7-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Bowie manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Lincoln said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big." He finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 4 walks in a solid outing. Lincoln has made 22 starts, tossed 183.1 innings, struck out 140 batters and walked 45. His record is 16-4 with a 1.62 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .183 batting average. |
