 | Sunday, May 16th, 2010: Kansas City and San Diego Agree to Trade The Kansas City Royals have parted ways with 19-year old minor league starting pitcher Zack Wheeler and 22-year old minor league third baseman Chris Herrmann, sending him to the San Diego Padres for 28-year old starting pitcher Phil Humber. The Royals general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Thus far this season Humber has posted a 2-0 record, started 4 games, struck out 32 batters in 28 innings and compiled a 2.89 ERA. |
