Thursday, September 25th, 2008: Dobbs Strokes 5 Hits
Greg Dobbs had an answer for everything Minnesota threw him today at Kauffman Stadium. In 5 at-bats he made good contact and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit.

The Kansas City left fielder went 5 for 5 in the game to get his name in the record book. However, his great performance was not enough to produce a victory. His club, the Royals, took it on the chin 4-3 against the Twins.

"I know you can't win 'em all," he said, "but it sure would have been nice to win this one. To get 5 hits and lose is just not the way it should be."

G. Dobbs singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off J. Riedling in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Currently Dobbs has 30 home runs and a .300 batting average.
