 | Monday, August 11th, 2008: Adams: Big Hit in the AL! What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Toronto's Russ Adams stacked up last week were the envy of the league, as Adams came away with AL Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week as he posted his .571 batting average. Thus far in 2008 Adams is hitting .290 with 7 home runs, 36 RBIs, 43 runs scored and has compiled a .339 OBP. |
