 | Friday, August 1st, 2008: July's Premier Rookie Named by AL Alex Gordon sizzled last month as he put together a successful bid for the AL Rookie of the Month. In July the Chicago (A) White Sox third baseman banged out 34 hits and 8 home runs for a solid .333 average. He also scored 22 runs and drove in 20. So far this year Gordon is hitting .295 with 28 home runs. |
