 | Thursday, July 31st, 2008: Ohka Blanks Boston "He was kind of teasing them with his offspeed stuff and his fastball was moving everywhere," the Cleveland skipper said in postgame comments after Tomo Ohka had shut out the Boston Red Sox 12-0 on a 5-hit masterpiece. Ohka numbered 7 strikeouts and issued no walks in a gem of a performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well . . . or he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," complained the Boston manager after the defeat. So far in 2008 Ohka has compiled a 8-8 record with a 2.92 ERA. |
