 | Tuesday, July 29th, 2008: Whitney and Iwamura Swapped A trade between the Anaheim Angels and the Cleveland Indians was made official this morning. The Anaheim Angels have sent 24-year old third baseman Matt Whitney and 24-year old minor league closer Luke Hochevar to the Cleveland Indians in exchange for 29-year old third baseman Akinori Iwamura. Thus far in 2008 Iwamura is batting .303 with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |
