 | Saturday, July 19th, 2008: White Sox and Blue Jays Agree to Deal The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Chicago (A) White Sox sent 24-year old closer Matt Capps to the Toronto Blue Jays for 25-year old minor league second baseman Jarett Hoffpauir. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. To date this season Capps has 13 saves with a 4-5 mark and 4.83 ERA. |
